Weight Loss Diet Tools

September 23, 2009

130 million Americans, almost two-thirds of the population, are overweight.  Obesity’s role in shortening lives and increasing vulnerability to illness and disease is well-known.  Every month new medical tests prove increased bodily harm from the effects of being overweight.

Most overweight people want a weight loss program that actually does help them lose weight and helps them keep the fat off.  They want to be healthy, and to be seen as healthy.  Their desire is the right starting point.  These people need only an effective diet plan to turn their desire into action.

We offer tools to help those who want to lose weight.  There are no miracle breakthroughs revealed, because that is not where success resides.  We find answers in sound, readily-available, medical and scientific knowledge, and incorporate them into diet action plans.

Weight loss diet plans need five features to insure success.  They must allow for a normal lifestyle.  They must provide familiar and nutritious foods.  They must incorporate avoidance of unhealthy foods.  They must cause us to shed excess weight quickly.  And they must include tasty meals to make sure we lose weight for the long term while preventing us from feeling food-deprived.

It is possible for a person to lose weight if the desire is linked to a commitment and steadfastness of purpose.  By sticking to one’s diet a person can change his or her image and, perhaps as importantly, can change his or her self-image.
